About Me
Welcome! I’m Emerson Bantegui, an Art Director and UX/UI/Visual Designer with a rich tapestry of over 20 years in the design industry. My journey in the creative world is deeply rooted in a lifelong passion for art, comics, technology, and gaming. Raised in a small town in Long Island, New York, I’ve since set my roots in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, where I continue to explore and expand my creative horizons.
My design inspiration is as eclectic as my interests. From the intricate storylines and dynamic illustrations of comics to the cutting-edge advancements in technology and the immersive worlds of gaming, I draw from a broad palette to inform and invigorate my work. This diverse pool of influences allows me to approach each project with a fresh perspective, blending elements from various realms to create unique, compelling designs that speak volumes.
In the ever-evolving creative landscape, I see endless possibilities. The current era is one of unprecedented change and innovation, where traditional boundaries of design are being continuously redefined. I embrace this dynamic environment, leveraging my extensive experience while staying agile and open to new ideas. My approach is holistic, considering every facet of the user experience to craft designs that are not only visually stunning but also intuitively functional.
DRIVEN BY AUTHENTICITY, SUSTAINABILITY AND IMPACT
What sets me apart? It’s my unwavering commitment. I deeply care – about you, your customers, your technology, and your well-being. I prioritize work-life balance, environmental sustainability, and nurturing talent. At the heart of my philosophy is the belief that everything boils down to human connections. My mission is to use technology and commerce to bring people closer together.
When individuals feel seen, heard, and valued, they naturally engage more deeply. This engagement is the key to elevating brands to new heights of success.
Clients choose to work with me not just because of my reputation, but because I genuinely see people as individuals, not numbers. I steer clear of bureaucratic jargon and avoid wasting resources on unnecessary frills. With me, you’ll see tangible results and create digital experiences that resonate, touch hearts, and deliver real value to everyone involved.
TURNING VISION INTO VALUE
I'm highly selective with the projects I take on, and there's a sound rationale behind this approach. This practice is rooted in my commitment to providing clients with the unwavering dedication and attention they deserve throughout every phase of their project.

Interests
Drones, islands and robots!
When I’m not reclined in front of the computer, designing and developing interactive projects, you’ll find me immersed taking the skies with my new hobby of drone photography, capturing breathtaking views from above and experimenting with aerial shots that offer a fresh perspective on the world.
Travel and exploration are passions of mine, particularly when it comes to the many enchanting islands of the Philippines. Each island offers its own unique beauty and adventure, providing endless opportunities for discovery and inspiration.
On the competitive front, I’m an avid Call of Duty player, where I enjoy the thrill of competition and the camaraderie of team play. It’s a great way to unwind and engage in a different kind of strategy and creativity.
And let’s not forget my love for 80’s Japanese robot culture, which has been a lifelong fascination. This interest not only harks back to my childhood but also influences my design work, infusing it with a sense of nostalgia and innovative flair that’s unique to that era.
