SYNOPSIS

Killer Instinct, a distinguished fighting video game, originally emerged in 1994, developed by Rare was revived in 2013 by gaming studio, Double Helix Games. Villains Kitchen played a pivotal role in this renaissance. We were responsible for designing and implementing vibrant, engaging character pages for the game's BETA phase, infusing new life into the first batch of rebooted characters and enhancing the overall gaming experience.

PURPOSE

The primary purpose of Villains Kitchen’s involvement was to rejuvenate and modernize the Killer Instinct franchise for a new era of gamers. By innovatively designing character pages, they aimed to deepen player engagement and connection with the characters, thereby revitalizing the game’s appeal and retaining its iconic status in the gaming world. Their efforts sought to bridge the gap between long-time fans and new players, ensuring the legacy of Killer Instinct continued with renewed vigor and contemporary flair.
